Adel Qari is a visionary IT and digital transformation executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across aviation, airports, retail, and large-scale customer operations. His career reflects a consistent commitment to leveraging technology as a strategic enabler of business growth, delivering resilient, scalable, and customer-centric digital ecosystems.
Currently, Adel serves as Director of Corporate Applications and Acting Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations at Panda Retail Company (Savola Group), where he leads the technology backbone of one of the Kingdom’s largest retail networks powering 200+ stores across Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His mandate is clear: transform IT into a growth engine that drives operational excellence and competitive advantage. Under his leadership, Panda has optimized infrastructure efficiency, strengthened network reliability, and fully utilized ERP, finance automation, and HCM platforms ensuring seamless integration across retail systems, WMS, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
Before joining Panda, Adel spent over two decades shaping Saudi Arabia’s aviation technology landscape. As Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations at Jeddah Airports, he spearheaded digital transformation strategies, delivering 70+ initiatives and 97 successful projects that modernized airport operations and enhanced passenger experience. His tenure at GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) included pivotal roles in ICT management, where he led the transition from government to private entities, managed enterprise applications, and built mission-critical systems for one of the world’s busiest airports.
Adel’s influence extends beyond aviation and retail. As an Executive Board Member at TEAA Holding Company, he oversaw IT and transportation operations for Hajj and Umrah pilgrim services, driving digital platforms for crowd management and mobility to ensure safety and efficiency for millions of pilgrims. His strategic oversight in high-stakes environments demonstrates his ability to deliver technology solutions that scale under pressure.
His technical expertise spans aviation, airports, transportation, ERP, DMS, POS, cloud, infrastructure, connectivity, communication, cybersecurity, CRM, WMS, HCM, e-commerce, and enterprise integrations, complemented by strong competencies in IT strategy, governance, contract management, program management, and digital transformation leadership. Adel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University and certifications in PMP, Prince2, IT Strategy, Cybersecurity for Executives, and Blockchain, underscoring his commitment to innovation and sustainable digital ecosystems.
