With over 14 years of experience at the forefront of offshore energy operations, Mohamed Alkatheeri has built a career defined by technical mastery, leadership, and national pride. As a Team Leader Electrical Engineer in the Offshore Operation Section at NMDC Energy (formerly NPCC), he oversees electrical systems, HVAC, and aviation lighting across jack-up barges and pipe-lay vessels, ensuring compliance with international safety standards such as CAP437 and CAR-HVD. His work directly supports the operational continuity and safety of critical offshore infrastructure.

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Since joining NPCC in 2011, Mohamed has steadily advanced into senior leadership roles, including Electrical Technical Superintendent and Senior Offshore Operations Engineer, where he led teams managing the complex electrical and control systems vital to offshore energy projects. His innovative thinking was recognized when he proposed a Hybrid/Battery Power System solution for marine vessels, a forward-looking contribution to sustainability in offshore operations.

Beyond engineering, Mohamed is passionate about public speaking and leadership development. His belief in lifelong learning has driven him to pursue certifications in PMP® training, AI-enhanced entrepreneurship, financial management, and innovation in business practices.

Alongside his engineering career, Mohamed is an entrepreneur and active volunteer, contributing to initiatives that strengthen both the industry and society. Participated as an Exhibitor at ADIPEC 2023 & 2024, and actively engages with the UAE Genome Healthcare Project.

In 2025, Mohamed takes his thought leadership a step further as a delegate at ADIPEC 2025, where he will deliver two technical presentations, showcasing his expertise and reinforcing the UAE’s role in global energy innovation. He also became a Member of the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises, further expanding his role in economic empowerment and innovation.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Higher College of Technology in UAE.
